Artist Statement
Hothouse ceramics is the combination of Lesley’s unique porcelain wall art, vessels and jewellery inspired by the beauty of the British countryside, flora and fauna and Terry’s range of thrown functional stoneware with colourful layered glazes inspired by the forms, colours and textures of the Derbyshire Peak District.
They work together from their studio/gallery "Hothouse Ceramics" based in the Heritage Shopping Courtyard in Sudbury village, in the Derbyshire Dales. Here you will find an array of individual shops and designer workshops together with a lovely cafe.
