Artist Statement
Ceramic Sculpture is an area that is relatively new. Making figures out of clay built from slabs, exagerating but not losing the likeness of the original is a difficult art. Combining those figures with found objects brings in maths as well, as clay shrinks twice on firing and glazing, this has to be allowed for. My work combines craft with humour and hopefully will make you laugh.
