Artist Statement
My work is an imaginative distillation of memories and sensations of the fields, wildlife, lanes, orchards and hedgerows of the place where I grew up, and has obvious links to British Neo-Romanticism, with aspects of the natural world conveying emotions of joy, serenity and sorrow.
