Artist Statement
I make domestic tableware for daliy use which is kiln fired to stoneware temperatures. I produce wheel thrown pottery that has a counrty cottage feel to it and my choice of clay produces tiny, little iron speckles which show through a creamy white glaze when kiln fired up to a high temperature.
My background in the arts has centred around my vocation as an art therapist, which I believe has had an intrinsic impact in the way that I apporach clay and make pottery.
